Job Title: Tube Form Laser Operator – Steel Manufacturing
Location: Wolverhampton
Salary: £14.00 – £16.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00am – 16:30pm (Full Time, Temp to Perm)
About the Company:
Pertemps Wolverhampton are recruiting on behalf of a leading UK manufacturer of steel products. Our client is a trusted name in producing high-quality materials used across agricultural and structural industries.
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Tube Form Laser Operator to join a skilled production team on a temp to perm basis. The successful candidate will operate and maintain tube form laser machinery, ensuring precision and quality in the manufacturing of tubular and hollow steel sections.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and set up tube form laser cutting machines
Work with hollow sections and tubular steel components
Ensure products meet quality and dimensional specifications
Carry out routine maintenance and safety checks on machinery
Read and interpret engineering drawings and production schedules
Comply with all health and safety regulations within a busy steel manufacturing environment
Requirements:
Proven experience operating tube form laser machinery
Background in tubular steel or hollow section manufacturing
Ability to interpret technical drawings and work to tight tolerances
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Benefits:
