Position: Turning Cell Leader
Location: [Insert Location]
Reporting To: Machine Shop Manager
Working Hours: 08:00 - 16:30 (Friday 15:30), with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break and a 15-minute paid tea break. Overtime may be available.
Salary: £18.00 per hour
Holiday Entitlement: 25 days plus Bank Holidays

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, program, set, and operate CNC machines for turning and drilling operations
Load raw materials and parts onto machines efficiently
Inspect and measure finished products against specifications
Conduct daily checks and maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance
Adhere to all Health and Safety regulations and company standards
Maintain compliance with ISO 9001 standards
Candidate Requirements:
Proven experience in CNC setting and programming, especially with Fanuc/G-code
Skilled in using precision measuring equipment
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and engineering documentation
Strong mechanical aptitude and good mathematical skills
Excellent communication skills
A team player with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Focused on quality, safety, and continuous improvement
