Qualified Primary & Secondary Teachers Looking For Tuition (UET1)
Harrow
£30–£40 per hour + paid planning time
Term-Time Only, Monday-Friday between 9am-4pm; hours flexible around you!
Immediate & September Start Dates
We are currently recruiting Qualified Teachers (QTS essential) to deliver 1:1 tuition sessions in the Harrow area. These sessions take place Monday to Friday, between 9am and 4pm only — no evenings or weekends, term time only.
This role is ideal for experienced educators looking to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable learners, including those with SEN, those who are Looked After, or school refusers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to individual student needs
* Support both Primary and Secondary-aged students across a range of subjects
* Write brief weekly summaries detailing areas covered and progress made
* Manage behaviour positively and engage hard-to-reach learners
* Liaise with parents/carers and maintain professional relationships
* Attend sessions either in the child’s home or a local library/centre
* A parent/carer is always present
* A venue risk assessment is completed prior to attendance
Pay & Benefits:
* £30–£40 per hour, depending on experience and subject
* 2 hours of paid PPA time per child you take on
* Additional 1 paid hour for every 10 hours of tuition delivered
* Potential to build near full-time hours by working with multiple students
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – applications without this will not be considered
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
* Experience with SEN, behaviour management, or alternative provision is highly desirable
* Ability to work independently and adapt to different learning environmentsBefore You Apply
