About the Role
Vita CV is currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a UK-based digital business investing in product design quality. We are looking to appoint a UI/UX Designer on a full-time, fully remote basis. This is suited to experienced designers who can own end-to-end product design work, from user research through to high-fidelity prototypes.
Role Overview
The UI/UX Designer will own day-to-day product design work including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and design-system contributions, collaborating closely with product and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end design across new features and product improvements
• Conduct user research and translate insights into design decisions
• Produce wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI in Figma
• Contribute to and maintain the client's design system
• Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers during delivery
• Run usability testing and iterate based on findings
• Maintain organised design files and design documentation
Candidate Requirements
• 3+ years of experience in a UI/UX or product design role
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design work
• Advanced proficiency in Figma and modern design tools
• Solid understanding of user-centred design principles and research methods
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Self-directed and reliable in a fully remote working environment
• A stable home internet connection and a suitable workspace
Desirable Experience
• Experience contributing to or owning a design system
• Exposure to accessibility standards and inclusive design practices
