Job Description
Development Underwriting Executive
Location: Cheltenham Outskirts
Salary: Up to £32,000 + Uncapped Commission

* You will be a key conduit between our broker partners and capacity providers, managing referrals, inbound and outbound calls from brokers and ensuring the correct risks are going on cover with us
* You need to be comfortable managing large volumes of referrals and leads through phone and email volume
* Industry experience would be ideal but doesn’t have to be from an Underwriting background
* People person who will be comfortable building relationships and maximizing them
* Strong data analysis to drive partners forward
* Implementation planning and stakeholder management (internal and external)

* Strong communication skills — confident and clear over the phone and in writing
* Great relationship-building abilities with both internal and external partners
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when handling data and policy information
* A proactive, self-starting attitude with the ability to manage your own workload
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
Nice to Haves
* Previous experience in insurance, underwriting, financial services, or mortgages
* Experience using CRM systems and managing customer relationships
* Understanding of policy wordings, risk presentations, or delegated authority
* A team-player mindset, keen to learn and support colleagues
