Tradewind Recruitment is working with supportive secondary schools in the Northampton area who are looking for enthusiastic and confident individuals to take on the role of Unqualified Drama Teacher from September 2025. This full-time, long-term position is perfect for aspiring teachers or performing arts professionals who are ready to bring creativity, energy, and leadership into the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:
Delivering engaging Drama lessons and workshops to students in Key Stages 3 and 4
Supporting the Drama department in planning creative and inclusive learning activities
Encouraging student participation, self-expression, and confidence through performance
Assisting with school productions, drama clubs, and enrichment activities
Managing classroom behaviour and supporting the wider pastoral needs of students
You'll be a great fit if you:
Have experience working with young people in a school, theatre, or youth setting
Hold a degree in Drama, Performing Arts, or a related subject (not essential but desirable)
Are passionate about drama education and supporting student development
Have strong communication and classroom management skills
Are open to training and professional development opportunities
