Unqualified English Teacher - Northampton
Location: Northampton
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-Time | Long-Term | Potential for Permanent Role
Daily Pay: £100-£160 (depending on experience and responsibilities)
Are you a graduate with a degree in English or a related subject and a passion for inspiring young minds?
Have you gained experience through tutoring, cover supervision, or unqualified teaching-but not yet secured Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)?

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging English lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students

Manage classroom behaviour effectively, in line with school policies
Participate in staff training, safeguarding updates, and wider school initiatives

Who We're Looking For:
A degree in English Literature, English Language, Creative Writing, or a closely related field
A genuine enthusiasm for teaching and helping young people succeed
Confident classroom presence and strong communication skills
Experience in tutoring, mentoring, classroom support, or unqualified teaching (desirable)
A clear interest in pursuing QTS through a PGCE, SCITT, or school-based training route
An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply
