Job Description
Smile Education is recruiting for an Unqualified Teacher to support a secondary school in the Sandwell area. This is a full-time role starting in September for at least the first term, with a strong potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities
Support the personal development of pupils.
Take responsibility for the development and delivery of the curriculum.
Marking and Planning will be required
Maintain accurate records and liasies with SLT team.
Track student progress.
Contribute to the development of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and student progress reports.
Maintain effective communication with parents and carers.Person Specification Essential Qualifications & Skills
Minimum Grade C (or equivalent) in GCSE Maths and English.
A 2:1 degree desirable
Strong understanding of the National Curriculum.
Recent experience of teaching student across Secondary with SEND.Experience
The successful candidate will have:
At least one year of experience in a teaching environment with SEND.
Experience leading and managing a class.
Confidence in teaching or leading lessons independently.
Proven ability to plan, prepare, and adapt lessons to individual needs.
Experience in setting appropriate learning objectives.
Ability to monitor and record academic development.
