Unqualified Teaching Assistant Cardiff, South Wales Full-Time & Part-Time Available (Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM) £90 - £100 per day 1st of September 2025 – July 2026 About the Role: Are you passionate about supporting young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We’re looking for enthusiastic, caring, and reliable individuals to join a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Cardiff as a Unqualified Teaching Assistant. Key Responsibilities: Assist teachers in delivering tailored support to students with various special educational needs. Provide one-on-one and small-group support during lessons and activities. Help maintain a positive and engaging learning environment. Support students' social, emotional, and behavioural development. Work collaboratively with teaching staff and other support staff. Assist in the preparation of classroom activities and resources. Foster confidence, independence, and a positive learning environment. The School: The school caters to children and young people aged 11-18 with a wide range of Additional Learning Needs (ALN). The school is committed to providing a child-centred, empowering, and inclusive learning environment. Learning approaches include sensory activities, practical lessons, and structured individual development plans. What We’re Looking For: No formal qualifications required, but experience in a similar role or working with children is preferred. A compassionate, patient, and resilient attitude. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team. A genuine passion for supporting children with SEN. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills. Ability to travel to Cardiff and be available during school hours (8:30 AM – 3:30 PM). Why Join Us?
