Milk Education are working in partnership with a welcoming Primary School in North Tyneside who are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Teaching Assistant to join their team after half term. While you don’t need a formal TA qualification, you must have relevant experience working or volunteering with children in some capacity in the last 2 years.
Role Overview:
Supporting pupils in class under the guidance of the class teacher
Helping to deliver engaging lessons and activities
Providing 1:1 or small group support where needed
Encouraging positive behaviour and helping pupils build confidence
Assisting with classroom setup and general support across the school day
We’d love to hear from you if you:
Have experience working with children (e.g. coaching, Camp America, mentoring or youth work)
Are patient, reliable and able to adapt to different classroom environments
Have great communication skills and a positive attitude
Are passionate about helping children reach their potential
