The Role
We are looking for a talented Unreal Developer with a strong focus on C++ development. You’ll play a key role in building high-performance, interactive applications in Unreal Engine. From gameplay systems to interactive visualisations, your work will demonstrate technical mastery and creativity in equal measure. A strong portfolio of shipped projects or interactive prototypes is essential.
Core Skills & Experience
* Advanced proficiency in C++ within Unreal Engine, including object-oriented programming, memory management, and debugging.
* Strong grasp of Unreal Engine architecture, pipelines, and performance optimisation.
* Experience building interactive systems, tools, or gameplay mechanics.
* Solid understanding of Blueprints and how to extend or optimise them with C++.
* Familiarity with source control (e.g. Perforce, Git) on team-based projects.
* Experience integrating external APIs, SDKs, or datasets into Unreal Engine.
* Demonstrable portfolio showcasing interactive work built in Unreal Engine.
Desirable Skills
* Knowledge of Unreal Engine subsystems (AI, networking, physics, rendering).
* Experience with UI frameworks (UMG/Slate).
* Understanding of multithreading, optimisation, and performance profiling.
* Exposure to VR/AR or other immersive technologies.
* Houdini, Python, or other pipeline/tooling experience.
