Job Description
Baltic Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Permanent Upholsterer, working for a highly reputable business located in Consett. Joining a growing family-run business who are currently looking for an experienced upholsterer to join their team.

We're looking for someone who is not only skilled and experienced, but who takes genuine pride in their work. You'll be motivated, detail-oriented, and confident working both independently and as part of a busy, friendly team. Strong communication skills are a must.
Upholsterer Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Fabricate and install upholstery, ensuring high-quality finishes.
Utilize hand and power tools to cut, sew, and assemble materials.
Perform lifting and warehouse tasks as needed to support production.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate projects and address any issues.
Upholsterer Applicants:
Proven experience in upholstery is essential (2 years+)
A solid background in the upholstery industry
High standards of workmanship
Ability to work efficiently under pressure
Company Benefits:
Competitive pay, based on experience and skill level
20 days' holiday per year, plus statutory bank holidays
Additional 2 days' holiday for every 5 years of service

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday 8am - 4.15pm (37.5 hours per week)
Overtime and Saturday work available (paid at time and a half)
This is a Full-Time role but will also fulfil part time candidates too. Minimum starting salary of £29,250 per annum plus a bonus schemeBefore You Apply
