Upholstery Assistant - Temp to Perm - Grays, Essex 🔧
💷 £12.50 per hour | 🕒 40 hours per week | 📅 Monday to Friday
Are you an experienced Upholstery Assistant looking for a new opportunity in a dynamic and supportive environment? Our client, a well-established manufacturer based in Grays, Essex, is seeking a skilled individual to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the upholstery of furniture and soft furnishings to a high standard.
Prepare materials, tools, and components for upholstery tasks.
Support senior upholsterers with cutting, sewing, stapling, and assembling.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards.
Perform general workshop duties as required.
Requirements:
Previous experience in upholstery is essential - ideally within a manufacturing or workshop setting.
Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable, punctual, and committed to long-term employment.
Physically fit and capable of handling materials and tools.
What's on Offer:
Competitive hourly rate of £12.50.
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday - no weekend work!
