Are you an experienced and passionate Upper Key Stage 2 teacher with a flair for English and a desire to lead? A vibrant and inclusive primary school in the heart of Kensington is seeking a dynamic Upper KS2 Class Teacher to take on the additional responsibility of English Lead from September 2025.
About the Role:
Full-time class teaching responsibility in Year 5 or Year 6
Lead the development and delivery of the English curriculum across the school
Drive high standards in reading, writing, and oracy
Support colleagues through coaching, modelling, and CPD
Monitor and evaluate the impact of English teaching and learning
What We're Looking For:
A qualified teacher with QTS and proven Upper KS2 experience
A strong track record of raising attainment in English
Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for literacy
Leadership experience or clear potential to lead a core subject
A collaborative and reflective practitioner
