Core Responsibilities:
Take ownership of a diverse client portfolio, strategically delegating to junior team members while escalating complex matters to senior leadership as appropriate
Lead assignment execution with maximum efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring all deliverables meet firm standards prior to Partner/Director approval
Maintain current expertise in US tax legislation, utilising primary sources and internal procedural guides while actively pursuing professional development opportunities
Deliver technical leadership to team members and resolve sophisticated tax challenges as directed by client requirements
Collaborate with senior technical leaders on innovative solutions and draft technical communications when requested
Participate in business development activities, including supporting client acquisition presentations
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior colleagues, monitoring their professional development and helping overcome challenges
Ensure quality assurance across all junior team outputs, maintaining the highest service standards expected by clients and the firmIdeal Candidate Profile:
Dual qualification credentials (EA/ATT)
Proven track record in UK and US tax return preparation, review, and filing
Strong leadership capabilities with demonstrated coaching and mentoring experience
Technical proficiency with MS Office applications and specialised UK/US tax preparation software
Commitment to knowledge transfer and best practice implementation
Enthusiastic, collaborative approach with strong interpersonal skills
