Job Description
We are currently seeking a Van Driver to join our client's team. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient delivery and collection of products to a diverse customer base, while also providing exceptional pre- and post-sale support to ensure customers fully maximise the value and efficiency of the products.
A key aspect of the role is using your engaging personality to inspire and excite both customers and colleagues, showcasing the latest products, technology, and innovations
About this position:
Monday to Friday (40-hour week)
Start times would vary depending on jobs that are scheduled
Delivering cleaning equipment to customers sites nationwide
You will be required to load and unload the equipment at the sites
Update any progress and information on company's system via a tablet
Provide updates for delivery schedule
You will be required to provide product demonstrations and training sessions for customers
Perform pre-delivery inspections to confirm equipment is in proper conditionWhat we require from you for this role:
Full UK driving licence held for a minimum of 12 months
Willingness to travel long distances
Previous experience in delivery or logistics focused role
Strong organisational and time management skills
Excellent communication skills and customer service skills as you will be dealing with customers face to face
Ensure all documentation and records are complete and up-to-date.
Strapping experience
Ability to lift and carry heavy items due to the nature of the role
IT and computer literate
Ability to work independently as well as in a team
