Delivery Driver (Temp) – Avonmouth
📍 Location: Avonmouth, Bristol
📅 Start Date: 3rd November
💷 Pay: £13.93 per hour + enhanced overtime rates
About the Role
We’re currently recruiting Temporary Delivery Drivers based in Avonmouth to support a leading healthcare logistics company delivering essential medicines to patients’ homes, care homes, and hospitals.
This is a great opportunity to make a real difference while working for an organisation that values reliability, safety, and excellent service.
Key Details
Full-time temporary role (48 hours per week, excluding breaks)
5 working days per week, with Saturday rota (rest day provided during the week if working Saturday)
Shift times: between 5:00 and 18:00
Start date: 3rd November
Pay: £13.93 p/h + higher overtime rates
Job Duties
Deliver medical products to patients’ homes, care homes, and hospitals
Multi-drop deliveries, up to 50 drops per day
Delivery area can include Taunton, Gloucester, Oxford, South Wales, and surrounding regions
Light deliveries (typically up to 1 kg); occasional small fridge up to 5 kg
Ensure timely, accurate, and secure handling of medical products
Requirements
Valid UK Driving Licence (essential)
Minimum 6 months of previous driving experience required (multi-drop experience preferred)
Good communication and organisational skills
Reliable, punctual, and customer-focused
