Job Description
We are recruiting for Van Drivers to work Day Shifts in South Ockendon. This is an ongoing role working for a well known retailer!!
Shifts: Any 5 days out of 7 including weekend - must be flexible
Hours: Start time any time from 5:30am-08:00am (hours worked per day depends on length of the run, it is a minimum of 5 hours pay)
Pay Rate: £14.27 per hour + overtime paid at x1.5 rate/ £21.41 per hour
As a Van Driver your duties will include:
Deliver goods to the retail stores using Mercedes Sprinters
Conduct a maximum of 8 drops in any one shift
Scan items on arrival to each drop off point
Load and unload goods
Sort tubs and sacks of clothing using pump trucks to move around the warehouse
We are really keen to hear from applicants with the following skills and experience:
Full UK Driving License
At least 6 months experience as Van Driver, Multi Drop Driver or similar
No more than 6 points on license
Ideally experience of driving a long wheel base van
Willing to undertake a driving assessment prior to starting
Excellent customer service skills
