Job Description
Job Title: Van Driver / Removals Porter
Location: Reading
Salary: £31,700 + Performance Bonus + Premium Overtime Rates
Shift Pattern: 45 hours per week (Flexibility required)
We're recruiting Van Drivers / Removal Porters to join a growing technical distribution specialist based in the Reading area.
This is a hands-on, varied role where no two days are the same. You'll be part of a family-run business that values its people, rewards hard work and offers genuine opportunities to progress and upskill.
A brief description of what you will be doing:
Lifting, loading, and moving specialist equipment safely and efficiently as part of a team
Installing and setting up IT equipment on-site for corporate clients across the UK
Completing delivery notes, job sheets, and paperwork with accuracy and attention to detail
Travelling nationwide daily as part of the delivery and installation team
Using hand and power tools to support installations and removals
Delivering excellent customer service, acting as the face of the business
Safely driving 3.5 Tonne vehicles to client sites
Performing banksman duties to support safe vehicle manoeuvres
What we're looking for:
Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting
Full, clean UK driving licence
Ambitious, motivated, and eager to learn new skills
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Flexible with working hours - early starts, late finishes, and regular overtime
No criminal convictions (must pass a security clearance check)
