Job Description
Van Driver (Multi-Drop, 15–25 deliveries per day)
* Role: Van driver
* Location: Swindon.
* Pay:from £31500 pa
* Days: Monday to Friday
* Hours: 0600am starts
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out 15–25 multi-drop deliveries to residential and commercial addresses each day.
* Load, unload, and secure goods safely in the van.
* Plan routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules and deadlines.
* Provide excellent customer service at every drop, ensuring professionalism and courtesy.
* Complete all delivery paperwork and use handheld devices/scanners where required.
* Conduct daily vehicle checks, report defects, and maintain cleanliness of the van.
* Follow all road safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
* Full UK driving licence (with no more than 6 penalty points).
* Previous van driving or multi-drop delivery experience preferred but not always essential.
* Good knowledge of local routes and ability to use sat-nav/route-planning apps.
* Physically fit to handle parcels and occasional heavy lifting.
* Strong time management and organisational skills.
* Reliable, punctual, and customer-focused.
Typical Hours:
* 0600 - finish time (50 hours per week average)
