Van Driver (6-12 month FTC)
Horsham
£27,300 FTE (DOE)
Lloyd Recruitment Services are currently seeking an experienced Van Driver to join a friendly and hardworking team within a local business near Horsham.
This is a varied role combining multi-drop deliveries across the Southeast and South London some general warehouse support duties. The successful candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a close-knit team.
Key Responsibilities of the Van Driver:
Deliver goods to both trade and domestic customers
Handball products and materials
Complete scheduled drop-offs across the South-East and South London
Load and unload the company van each day, ensuring all goods are handled safely
Assist in the factory when required
General housekeeping and tidying of the workspace
Follow delivery schedules and route plans, adapting to any changes during the day
Provide friendly and professional service to all customers
Ensure the company vehicle is kept clean and in good condition, reporting any issues promptly
What You'll Need:
Full, clean UK driving licence
Proven van driving experience (ideally in a multi-drop or delivery role)
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Strong organisational skills and the ability to follow route plans or adapt to last-minute changes
Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on the road

Full-time fixed-term contract (6-12 months)

Full-time hours, Monday to Friday (early finish on Fridays)
