The position of Van Technician – Night Shift provides a competitive salary of £45,000 per annum, with hours from 21:30 to 08:00, Monday to Thursday. You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing Mercedes-Benz vans and other light commercial vehicles, ensuring they meet safety and compliance standards while maintaining high service quality.

Branded uniformDuties:

Perform major and minor repairs on Mercedes-Benz vans and other light commercial vehicles
Carry out diagnostic testing to identify faults with precision
Execute wheel alignment, tyre fitting, and preventative maintenance tasks
Maintain detailed vehicle records using Keyloop/Kerridge systems
Complete warranty claims accurately and escalate issues when necessary
Assist with workshop duties including vehicle inspections, cleaning, and inventory management
Work collaboratively with team members to diagnose and plan repairs
Ensure all work adheres to manufacturer standards and safety regulations 
Complete customer documentation accurately and within designated timesRequirements:

Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds, or IMI qualification in Vehicle Repair and Maintenance (PV experience considered)
Proven diagnostic and repair experience on vans and light commercial vehicles
Ability to identify faulty components in line with DVSA standards
Full UK driving licence relevant to vehicle classes for a Van Technician
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to high-quality workmanship
