Van Technician - Coventry
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a highly skilled Van Technician to join a reputable Main Dealership in Coventry. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced motor trade professionals to work within a modern, well-equipped workshop environment, offering a competitive salary package and excellent career development prospects. The position of Van Technician plays a crucial position in ensuring high-quality servicing and repairs of light commercial vehicles.

Duties as an LCV Technician:
  * Conduct Servicing, Maintenance, and Repairs as a Van Technician
  * Diagnose faults accurately and complete repairs to first-time fix standards
  * Support the preparation and servicing of new, used, and loan vehicles
  * Maintain high standards of quality and efficiency within the workshop team
  * Ensure all work is completed in accordance with manufacturer and dealership standards
  * Keep precise and comprehensive job records and documentation
Requirements:
  * NVQ / IMI Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent qualification
  * Proven experience as a Van Technician within a Workshop or Dealership setting
  * Strong diagnostic capabilities with the ability to identify faults efficiently
  * Experience with Light Commercial Vehicles is highly desirable
  * MOT Tester licence (preferred but not essential)
  * Knowledge of Hybrid/Electric Vehicle Systems and VAG Vehicles (advantageous)
  * Full UK driving licence
  * A team player with attention to detail and a strong work ethic
