Job Description

VCF Architect Initial 6-month Contract Fully Remote £600 - £800/day, Inside IR35 We're recruiting for a VCF Architect to support an enterprise virtualisation and cloud infrastructure programme. This role will focus on the architecture and delivery of VMware-based cloud infrastructure, including Cloud Foundation, workload migration, disaster recovery and Software-Defined Data Centre solutions. You'll work closely with infrastructure, cloud and security teams to design and deliver secure, scalable and resilient platforms. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) architecture and solutions Develop and optimise Software-Defined Data Centre (SDDC) strategies and deployments Utilise HCX to support workload mobility and cloud migration activities Design, implement and manage Site Recovery Manager (SRM) disaster recovery solutions Provide technical leadership across VCF and virtual cloud infrastructure projects Work closely with Infrastructure, Cloud, Security and Architecture teams Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across VCF, HCX, SRM and SDDC environments Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, security standards and industry best practices Requirements: Proven experience working as a VCF Architect, VMware Architect or similar position Strong hands-on experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) Extensive experience across HCX, SRM and SDDC technologies Strong understanding of VMware virtualisation and cloud infrastructure Experience supporting large-scale cloud migration or transformation programmes Strong architecture and design experience within enterprise environments Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills VMware certifications such as VCP, VCAP or VCDX are desirable Contract Details: Initial 6-month contract Fully remote working Scope long-term extension beyond the initial contract, subject to programme requirements and performanceECS Recruitment Group Ltd is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy
