Job Description
Kolt Recruitment are looking for an experienced VDA Assistant Manager to join a busy Accident Repair Centre in Basingstoke. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled bodyshop professional to support the day-to-day management of the site while producing accurate repair estimates and ensuring efficient repair processes.
Key Responsibilities
*
Accurately assess vehicle damage and create repair estimates using Audatex or similar systems.
*
Produce detailed repair reports and costings for insurers and customers.
*
Support the Bodyshop Manager with daily operations and workflow management.
*
Liaise with insurers, engineers, and customers to authorise repair work.
*
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and industry regulations.
*
Motivate and support the team to achieve high standards of quality and efficiency.
Requirements
*
Proven experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor within a bodyshop or accident repair environment.
*
Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader role desirable.
*
ATA VDA Accreditation desirable but not essential for experienced candidates.
*
Strong understanding of modern repair methods and estimating software.
*
Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills.
*
Full UK driving licence.
