Job Type: Full-Time | Temp to Perm Opportunity
Start Date: Immediate Starts Available
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:30 with occasional Saturdays
About the Role:
We are currently recruiting for a Vehicle Appraiser to join our team based in Bristol. This is a hands-on, physically active role that involves inspecting a wide range of vehicles, assessing their condition, and generating accurate appraisals for insurance, sales, or fleet purposes. This role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail, a good knowledge of vehicle mechanics, and a professional, customer-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough visual and physical inspections of vehicles on-site
*
Evaluate vehicle condition, mileage, wear, damage, and modifications
*
Use industry-standard tools (e.g. Glass’s Guide, CAP HPI) to assign fair market valuations
*
Create detailed vehicle appraisal reports for internal and client use
*
Support insurance claims, auctions, or resales with accurate vehicle data
*
Communicate findings clearly and professionally to relevant stakeholders
*
Maintain a high standard of health & safety and follow all site procedures
Essential Requirements:
*
Aged 21 or over (for insurance purposes)
*
Full UK driving licence with no more than 3 penalty points
*
Physically fit – the role involves walking, standing, bending, and outdoor work
*
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
*
Good understanding of cars, vans, and light commercial vehicles
*
Previous experience in vehicle appraisals, inspections, or automotive roles preferred

Working environment is a vehicle yard – must be comfortable with outdoor physical work
