Vehicle Banksman needed in Thetford
* Location: Thetford
* Start Date: Immediate
* Duration: Long-term
* Pay Rate: £25.00 per hour (CIS)
* Hours: 08:00 – 18:00 (9.5 hours paid per day)
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Banksman to work on a major project in Thetford. This is a long-term role requiring candidates to hold both the A73 Plant & Vehicle Marshaller ticket and the A62 Crane Supervisor ticket.
The successful candidate must be confident in managing vehicle and plant movements on site, as well as supervising lifting operations, with a valid Safety Critical Medical in place.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Directing and coordinating the safe movement of vehicles, cranes, and plant across site.
* Supervising lifting operations in line with site safety standards.
* Liaising with crane operators, plant operators, and site management to coordinate works.
* Ensuring traffic routes and exclusion zones are properly managed.
* Maintaining compliance with site health and safety procedures at all times.
* Reporting and escalating any incidents or safety concerns.
Requirements
* Valid CPCS/NPORS A73 Plant & Vehicle Marshaller ticket.
* Valid CPCS/NPORS A62 Crane Supervisor ticket.
* Demonstrable experience in vehicle marshalling and crane supervision.
* Valid Safety Critical Medical.
* Excellent communication and supervisory skills.
