Job Description
Commercial Vehicle Bodybuilder
Location: Wellingborough
Salary: £15 DOE, Overtime x1.5
Hours: Mon to Fri, Overtime available after 40hours
Join a leading manufacturer of high-quality truck bodies, with a reputation for craftsmanship and innovation. We're looking for a skilled and motivated Commercial Vehicle Bodybuilder, Coachbuilder or Vehicle builder
Key Responsibilities of the Commercial Vehicle Bodybuilder
Constructing a range of commercial truck bodies
Measuring, marking, and cutting materials accurately to specification
Fitting, assembling, and commissioning bodywork components to meet quality standards
Using a range of tools including hand tools, pistol drills, riveters, power tools, and MIG welders (welding experience desired but not essential)
Requirements:
Previous experience as a commercial vehicle bodybuilder, coachbuilder or in a automotive bodybuilding environment preferred
Competent in the use of hand and power tools
MIG welding experience desirable
Ability to interpret technical drawings and build specifications
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Full UK driving licence required
Positive attitude and strong team ethic
