Job Title: Vehicle Body Builder
Location: Kettering
Pay Rate: Up to £16.00 per hour (DOE) + 50% overtime premium
Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday - Friday, flexible start/finish times) + overtime available
Contract Type: Temp to Perm
Start Date: ASAP
The Opportunity
We are looking for Skilled and Semi-Skilled Vehicle Body Builders to join a well-established and growing business based in Kettering. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with hands-on experience in vehicle bodybuilding or transferable skills from similar industries such as boatbuilding, caravan building, or even fabrication and welding.

The Role
As a Vehicle Body Builder, you will be responsible for:
Building, repairing, and fitting commercial vehicle bodies to a high standard
Working with materials such as steel, aluminium, wood, and GRP
Reading and working from technical drawings and job specifications
Using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
Carrying out welding, cutting, and fabrication where required (training can be provided if semi-skilled)
Working independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines
Ensuring all work is carried out in line with health & safety regulations
About You
Previous experience as a Vehicle/Coach/Body Builder is highly desirable
Transferable skills from boatbuilding, caravan building, fabrication, or heavy plant/rolling stock industries will also be considered
Welding experience (MIG/TIG) would be a strong advantage
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong practical and problem-solving skills
Reliable, motivated, and keen to learn
