Vehicle Damage Assessor – Cannock
Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum plus £500 monthly bonus potential
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
Benefits: 30 days holiday (including public holidays) with additional days for length of service, Health Cash Plan (claim back medical costs), Cycle to Work Scheme
About the Company
Our client is a well-established Accident Repair Centre with branches across the UK, renowned for delivering exceptional vehicle repair and customer service standards. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a skilled and motivated Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) to join their team in Cannock.
The Role
As a Vehicle Damage Assessor, you will play a key part in the repair process by accurately assessing vehicle damage, preparing detailed repair estimates, and liaising with customers, insurers, and technicians to ensure a smooth and efficient repair journey.
Your responsibilities will include:

Conducting detailed damage assessments and preparing accurate repair estimates using Audatex and Autoflow systems
*
Liaising with insurance companies and customers to gain repair authorisations
*
Ensuring all vehicle repairs are completed to manufacturer standards and within agreed timescales
*
Supporting workshop and customer service teams to maintain high-quality repair standards
*
Maintaining accurate records and documentation throughout the repair process
About You
The ideal Vehicle Damage Assessor will have experience within a similar role and a good understanding of the repair and estimating process. While none of the following are essential, the following skills and experience are preferred:

Previous experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor or Bodyshop Estimator
*
Familiarity with Audatex and Autoflow systems
*
IMI Accreditation
*
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
*
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
