Our client, a reputable and well-established bodyshop in Ilkeston, is seeking a highly skilled Vehicle Damage Assessor to join their busy team.

The successful Vehicle Damage Assessor will play a key role in inspecting vehicles, producing accurate repair estimates, and liaising with insurers and workshop staff to ensure efficient repair processes.

Conduct vehicle damage inspections and assess repair requirements as a vehicle damage assessor
Produce precise repair estimates using industry-standard systems
Identify suitable repair methods in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
Liaise with insurance companies to secure repair authorisations
Communicate repair plans effectively with technicians and workshop staff
Maintain accurate records and manage repair documentation efficientlyRequirements:
Proven experience as a vehicle damage assessor or estimator
ATA or IMI certification preferred
Familiarity with Audatex estimation software desirable
Strong knowledge of vehicle damage assessment, bodyshop repair processes, and methodologies
Full valid UK driving licence
