Vehicle Damage Assessor/Estimator

Location: Upper Heyford, Oxfordshire

Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday, 08:00-16:30 (30 mins lunch)

Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum

Contract: Full-Time, Temp to Perm

Igloo is looking for Vehicle Damage Assessors/Estimators to join our client’s team in Upper Heyford.

Our client is one of the UK’s leading automotive & logistics companies, with operations across the country, and they are looking for a skilled Vehicle Estimator to join their team.

The Role

As a Vehicle Estimator, you will:

  * Ensure accurate vehicle damage estimations, following industry guidelines.

  * Document vehicle estimates clearly and accurately using industry systems.

  * Prioritise workloads to ensure repairs progress efficiently.

  * Work closely with the technical team to communicate repair methods and requirements.

  * Carry out any ad-hoc duties as required.

The Person

  * Previous experience as a Bodyshop Estimator or Vehicle Damage Assessor.

  * ATA (Automotive Technical Accreditation) accredited – essential.

  * Experience using the Audatex estimation system.

  * Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points for minor offences.

  * Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate estimates.

  * Effective communicator with strong planning and organisational skills.

  * Able to work to deadlines and identify potential risks within the repair process.

  * A collaborative team player.
