IMI (ATA) Accreditation preferredDuties of the Vehicle Damage Assessor:
Conduct inspections of damaged vehicles with accuracy and efficiency
Assess the extent of damage and estimate repair costs and durations
Liaise effectively with insurance companies and customers to streamline repair processes
Ensure all work is completed to the highest technical and quality standards
Document assessments thoroughly and professionally
Keep up-to-date with industry standards and repair techniques
Maintain accurate records of assessments and repairsRequirements of the Vehicle Damage Assessor:
Proven experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor or similar role within a bodyshop environment
IMI VDA certification is essential
Audatex qualification desirable
Full UK driving licence
Strong focus on delivering excellent customer service
Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
