Duties of the Vehicle Damage Assessor:
* Conduct comprehensive vehicle damage assessments utilizing the Audatex system
* Produce detailed and accurate repair cost estimates
* Liaise effectively with customers, insurance assessors, and repair technicians to facilitate smooth communication
* Identify hidden damages and provide informed recommendations for repairs
* Ensure all assessments comply with relevant safety standards and regulations
* Source parts and materials, negotiating prices and delivery timelines
* Document assessment findings meticulously and maintain clear records
* Stay updated on the latest repair methodologies and industry best practices
* Deliver outstanding customer service and professionally resolve disputes
Requirements of the Vehicle Damage Assessor:
* Proven experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor
* Proficiency with Audatex software is essential
* NVQ Level 3 qualification and ATA or IMI certification preferred
* Experience within a bodyshop environment is highly desirable
* Full UK Manual Driving Licence is mandatory
