About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) to join a reputable accident repair centre in the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately assessing vehicle damage and compiling detailed estimates for repair, ensuring high standards of customer service and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct detailed inspections of damaged vehicles to assess the extent of damage.

Produce accurate, fair, and cost-effective repair estimates using Audatex or similar estimating systems.
*
Liaise with insurance companies, customers, and internal departments regarding repair authorisation.
*
Communicate with workshop technicians to ensure estimates are achievable and align with repair capabilities.
*
Follow repair processes from start to finish, ensuring efficient workflow and timely updates.
*
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, quality standards, and health & safety policies.
*
Maintain excellent customer service, providing clear and timely updates to clients on repair progress.
Requirements
✅ ATA or NVQ Level 3 qualified in Vehicle Damage Assessment or equivalent (preferred)
✅ Strong experience in vehicle estimating using Audatex
✅ Knowledge of accident repair processes, parts, and materials
✅ Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
✅ Strong communication and organisational abilities
✅ Customer-focused with a professional and courteous manner
✅ Valid UK driving licence
