Vehicle Damage Assessor – Skelmersdale
Location: Wednesbury
Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 per annum
The Opportunity
Join a well-established accident repair specialist with over 30 years’ experience delivering quality vehicle repairs. This is a great chance to become part of a growing, reputable company expanding across multiple sites.
As a Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA), you will be responsible for accurately assessing vehicle damage to determine repairability and the work required. Your assessments play a crucial role in the repair process.
Key Responsibilities
Produce accurate, right-first-time repair assessments
Maintain excellent working knowledge of estimating systems such as Audatex and E-Scribe
Understand insurer and customer contracts to ensure compliance
Adhere to repair method guidelines and contractual obligations
Communicate clearly and maintain accurate records of actions and communications
Proactively suggest improvements to company processes
About You
Previous experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor or estimator is preferred
Strong knowledge of Audatex and E-Scribe systems
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Well organised with effective time management
Flexible and adaptable to changing situations
