38.5 per week
Three days at 7.5 hours
Two days at 8 hours

Purpose:
Act as a technical expert in vehicle construction and repair.
Provide assistance, support, and development opportunities to the office team, enhancing their skills, knowledge, and efficiency.
Conduct image-based desktop inspections and authorise independent and manufacturer repairers within agreed tolerance levels.
Review complaints related to technical vehicle construction and repair issues, offering guidance and recommendations for the best course of action.
Perform regular sample audits of the repair network in line with the Repairer Audit Policy, ensuring compliance with claim circumstances, repair methods, and costs.

Carry out desk-based image assessment inspections
Manage technical complaints and resolve escalated cases
Conduct audits of the repair network and provide recommendations
Drive continual improvement across all relevant measures
Build solid, productive working relationships

Eliminate waste, mistakes, and errors
Build quality into work systems and processes
Minimise total costs by reducing variation

Person Specification:
Essential:
IMI VDA - AQP accreditation (or working towards it)
Membership of the Institute of Automotive Engineer Assessors (or working towards membership)
Knowledge of insurance principles
Effective negotiation skills
Ability to conduct accurate audits
Up-to-date awareness of industry and market developments
Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Clear, articulate speech and written communication skills
Experience with or knowledge of Audatex, HPI, Glass's Guide, and CAP products
Strong organisational and time management abilities
Capability to present data meaningfully and to deliver presentations to large groups
Experienced, empathetic, and professional
Desirable:
Familiarity with relevant software and tools such as Cortex, Retina, or Autoflow products
