The Role:
Silcom Recruitment is seeking a Vehicle Damage Assessor to join an established, main-dealer group, based around the outskirts of Basingstoke.
Our client also welcomes those looking to move into a Vehicle Damage Assessor role from related backgrounds, such as:
Panel beating, bodyshop or paint technician work, mechanical repair, or motor claims handling with experience in damage assessment. Training and support will be provided for the right candidate to transition into the role.
Responsibilities & Requirements:
Inspect damaged vehicles and assess the full extent of the damage, both cosmetic and structural.
Prepare accurate repair estimates using industry-standard software.
Liaise with insurance companies, customers, and repair teams to agree repair methods and costs.
Determine whether vehicles are repairable or require total loss classification.
Ensure repair methods comply with manufacturer guidelines and industry standards.
The Package:
£40,000 Basic – Experience dependent
£48,000 Package
Monday to Friday – 8:00-6:00
