Job Description
Job Title: Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA)
Location: Basildon, Essex
Salary: £40,000 to £44,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:30pm
We’re looking for an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor to join a high-performing accident repair centre in Basildon. If you have strong Audatex skills, a background in bodyshop estimating, and a sharp eye for detail, this is a great opportunity to take the next step in your career.
Key Responsibilities:
* Accurately assess vehicle damage and produce repair estimates using Audatex
* Communicate with insurers and customers to gain repair approvals
* Collaborate with technicians to ensure repairs are carried out correctly and efficiently
* Maintain clear, up-to-date records and job status throughout the repair process
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a VDA or Estimator
* Proficient in Audatex (essential)
* Strong knowledge of bodyshop repair processes
* IMI Accreditation or NVQ Level 3 qualification (preferred)
