Job Description
Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Vehicle Electrical Technician on behalf of our client based in Earls Colne, on a temp-to-perm basis.
The successful candidate will have previous experience working with vehicle electrics and wiring, with strong attention to detail and confidence using hand tools in a workshop environment.
Roles & Responsibilities
*
Wiring wire looms together and routing wiring through vehicles.
*
Carrying out basic soldering on electrical components.
*
Sorting and assembling various wiring pins and connectors.
*
Testing and fault-finding on vehicle electrical systems.
*
Removing and installing car seats as part of electrical install requirements.
*
Ensuring all work is carried out safely and to high quality standards.
*
Maintaining a tidy and organised working area.
*
Undertaking other general duties within the workshop as required.
Experience, Education & Qualifications
*
Previous experience working with vehicle electrics or wiring harnesses (preferred).
*
Basic soldering experience required.
*
Prior experience using hand and power tools is essential.
*
Strong attention to detail and methodical working approach.
*
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
*
Health and safety conscious.
Salary: Up to £17.00 per hour (dependent on experience)
Hours:
*
Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 4:00pm or 8:00am – 5:00pm
*
Friday: 7:00am – 1:00pm or 8:00am – 2:00pm
Benefits: Free on-site parking, canteen facilities, and potential for a permanent contract following the temporary period.
