Job Description
Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Vehicle Fitter on behalf of our client based in Earls Colne, on a temp-to-perm basis.
The successful candidate will have previous experience using hand and power tools, with a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work effectively in a workshop environment.
Roles & Responsibilities
* Bolting fixings and components into vehicles.
* Using a variety of hand and power tools daily.
* Working with steel and aluminium materials.
* Assembling, fitting, and modifying vehicle parts as required.
* Ensuring all work is carried out safely and to high quality standards.
* Maintaining a clean and organised workspace.
* Undertaking other general duties within the workshop as required.
Experience, Education & Qualifications
* Prior experience using hand and power tools is essential.
* Experience working on vehicles is advantageous.
* Mechanically minded with strong attention to detail.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Health and safety conscious.
Salary: Up to £17.00 per hour (dependent on experience)
Hours:
* Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 4:00pm or 8:00am – 5:00pm
* Friday: 7:00am – 1:00pm or 8:00am – 2:00pm
Benefits: Free on-site parking, canteen facilities, and potential for a permanent contract following the temporary period.
