Job Title: Vehicle Integration Engineer – Durability & Robustness
Location: Warwickshire
EES Solution is seeking a skilled and motivated Vehicle Integration Engineer to work on behalf of our client to enhance the customer experience through the design, development, and validation of vehicle Durability and Robustness attributes.
This role focuses on delivering vehicle-level attribute targets by developing and executing effective Design Verification (DV) plans, applying both virtual and physical testing methodologies. You will act as a Durability & Robustness PAT (Product Attribute Team) Leader, ensuring the final product meets or exceeds customer expectations through evidence-based validation and technical problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the delivery of attribute requirement targets throughout all vehicle development gateways.
* Develop and manage Design Verification (DV) plans across rig-based and on-road test activities.
* Ensure robust integration and delivery planning of Durability & Robustness testing and analysis (including CAR, RLD, rig, and driven DV).
* Analyse test data and track the cascade of loads throughout the system and components.
* Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and suppliers to define and maintain cascaded target requirements.
* Identify, escalate, and manage engineering issues within the Automated Issues Management System (AIMS).
* Deliver concise technical reports and support documentation for programme sign-off.
* Ensure timely resolution of issues and effective communication with the Programme Attribute Team.
* Capture and feed back lessons learned to improve future programme delivery.
* Undertake other work as required by the line manager in connection with the role.
Key Performance Indicators:
* Attribute targets fully cascaded and accepted by relevant teams.
* DV activities executed to plan with timely reporting of results.
* All sign-off documentation completed and submitted by agreed gateways.
* Technical issues raised within 48 hours of identification.
Required Skills & Experience:
* Broad understanding of vehicle systems and technologies.
* Knowledge of Durability & Strength principles and associated data analysis techniques.
* Familiarity with systems engineering and structured validation methodologies.
* Strong problem-solving and issue-resolution skills.
* Effective communication and collaboration across engineering and supplier teams.
Desirable Skills:
* Experience in project management of engineering test programmes.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
* Familiarity with CAD visualisation tools (e.g., VisMockUp).
* Knowledge of vehicle-level engineering and cross-functional programme delivery
