About the Role As a Vehicle Mechanic / Diagnostic Technician, you’ll play a key role in returning collision-damaged vehicles safely to manufacturer standards. Your Responsibilities You’ll be responsible for: * Diagnosing mechanical, electrical and electronic faults. * Removing and refitting engines, gearboxes and drivetrain components. * Repairing steering, suspension and braking systems. * Carrying out wheel alignment and chassis geometry. * Completing ADAS and post-repair diagnostic procedures. * Working across petrol, diesel, hybrid and electric vehicles. * Completing quality inspections and road tests. * Following manufacturer repair methods and technical procedures. * Working with colleagues to achieve right-first-time repairs. What We’re Looking For You’ll ideally have: Experience as a Vehicle Mechanic, Technician, Diagnostic Technician or Master Technician. IMI Level 3, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent. Strong mechanical, electrical and diagnostic skills. Experience with modern diagnostic equipment. HEV qualification desirable, but not essential. Full UK Driving Licence. Strong attention to detail and pride in your workmanship.
