Job Title: Vehicle Technician – Fawley (SO40)
📍 Location: Fawley, Southampton (SO40)
💰 Salary: Up to £16 per hour
🕒 Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00am – 5:00pm, Friday 8:00am – 4:00pm (40-hour week)
📆 Holidays: 28 days + Christmas period off
🔧 About the Role We’re recruiting on behalf of an independently run, family-operated garage in Fawley (SO40) that takes pride in delivering honest, skilled workmanship without the pressure of dealership targets or bonus schemes. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Vehicle Technician who enjoys getting stuck into a variety of jobs—from motorhomes to Maseratis—in a supportive and down-to-earth workshop environment.
✅ What You’ll Be Doing:
Conduct mechanical repairs, servicing, and diagnostics across a wide range of makes and models
Tackle complex engine, electrical, and fault-finding work
Work independently and as part of a small, close-knit team
Maintain high standards of workmanship, customer care, and safety🔍 What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic
Comfortable working across a wide variety of vehicles (cars, vans, and more)
Skilled in diagnostic equipment, fault finding, and hands-on mechanical work
A positive, team-oriented attitude
Full UK Driving Licence required🎁 What’s in it for You:
