Vehicle Paint Sprayer

Circa £50k Basic Salary

Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm

Monday Matters Recruitment are working with a well-established independent bodyshop based in Chatham. This family-run business has built a strong local reputation for quality craftsmanship, attention to detail, and excellent customer service. Due to steady growth, they’re now looking for an experienced Paint Sprayer to join their friendly team.
The Role:
As a Paint Sprayer, you’ll be responsible for preparing and refinishing vehicles to the highest possible standard. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a bodyshop environment and a real passion for producing first-class work.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare vehicles for paintwork, including sanding, masking, priming, and minor repairs
*
Mix and match paint colours accurately
*
Apply base coats, clear coats, and finishes using spray guns and booth equipment
*
Carry out final polishing and rectification work where required
*
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace
*
Work efficiently to meet job deadlines without compromising on quality
What We’re Looking For:
*
Previous experience as a Vehicle Paint Sprayer / Refinisher
*
Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship
*
Ability to work independently or as part of a small, close-knit team
*
Knowledge of modern paint systems and colour matching
*
Full UK driving licence preferred
