Job Description

Vehicle Paint Sprayer:

  * Full Time / Permanent.

  * Basic Salary £40,000 - £55,000 depending on experience/qualifications

  * Hours - Monday – Friday (6:30am - 4:30pm - 1 hour break)

  * NO Weekends

The Role of a Paint Sprayer:

  * Paint Spraying

  * Prepping

  * Priming

  * Filler Work

  * Polishing

  * Colour Matching

  * Paint Mixing

  * Quality Control/Inspection

  * De-grease the area to be treated

  * Sand down the relevant areas and adjoining areas for blending purposes

  * Mask out area to be treated

  * Etch and prime area to be treated

  * Bake the vehicle in the oven, setting temperature according to the vehicle requirements.

  * De-mask vehicle

  * Flat the primer to prepare the surface to receive top coat of paint

  * 

Qualifications required of a Paint Sprayer

  * ATA/NVQ/IMI/City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 qualified Vehicle Paint Spraying or time served within a Vehicle Paint Sprayer role.

  * Full valid driving licence

  * MUST have your own Spray Guns and Mask

  * Previous experience of working within an accident repair centre
