Vehicle Preparation Technician – London (Barking)

Have you worked for Solus, FixAuto, Motofix, Direct Line, Gemini, Aviva, FMGRS, Nationwide Crash Repair? Well, this could be the perfect role for you!

What We Offer

  * Competitive pay: £600–£720 per week based on 40 hours (equivalent to £15-£18 per hour)

  * Overtime available for extra earnings – evenings and Saturdays (optional)

  * Supportive team culture and modern, clean workshop

  * Long-term role with steady workflow and career stability

Your Responsibilities

  * Prepare vehicle panels for paint, including sanding, filling, masking, and priming

  * Ensure all surfaces are meticulously ready for the paint stage

  * Maintain a clean and organised workspace

  * Communicate clearly with painters and team members to meet deadlines

What We’re Looking For

  * Previous experience as a Vehicle Prepper in a professional bodyshop

  * Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship

  * Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  * Reliable, punctual, and motivated

  * Own tools preferred but not essential
