Key Responsibilities:
As a Vehicle Service Advisor, ensure customers are fully informed of required service and repair work in a professional, approachable manner.
Accurately estimate and explain the cost and scope of vehicle repairs—a core task for a successful Vehicle Service Advisor.
Proactively upsell products and services in line with customer needs, demonstrating the consultative skills of a top Vehicle Service Advisor.
Communicate timeframes clearly and manage customer expectations on collection and delivery.
Produce job cards accurately using the dealership's in-house system—an essential part of the Vehicle Service Advisor role.
Maintain and update customer and vehicle records, ensuring compliance and accuracy at all times.
Record all warranty work in accordance with manufacturer guidelines, as expected of a professional Vehicle Service Advisor.
Prepare, check, and finalise customer invoices—a regular responsibility for any organised Vehicle Service Advisor.
What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience as a Vehicle Service Advisor or Vehicle Service Administrator in the motor trade is essential.
Ability to confidently sell additional products and services, as expected of a customer-focused Vehicle Service Advisor.
A valid driving licence is required for the Vehicle Service Advisor position.
