Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time
Salary: £37,000 basic | £44,000 OTE
We’re seeking a skilled and motivated Diagnostic Technician to join our clients Croydon team. Whether you’re an experienced vehicle technician or newly qualified with a strong drive to develop, this opportunity is ideal for those who take pride in precision and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities for Vehicle Technician
Perform high-quality diagnostics and repairs with a focus on first-time fixes.
Complete video vehicle health checks to highlight any issues and upsell opportunities.
Maintain open communication with workshop supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
Keep your work bay organised, clean, and compliant with safety protocols.
Participate in ongoing training to sharpen technical knowledge and broaden your skillset.
If applicable: Conduct MOTs in line with DVSA standards. £91 per month uplift of MOT qualified.Qualifications & Experience for Vehicle Technician
Essential: NVQ Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Technology (IMI or City & Guilds).
Desirable: Prior experience in a diagnostic or service technician role.
