Job Description
An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Vehicle Technician/Vehicle Mechanic within a main dealer service centre in Birmingham.
Our Automotive Client has a need for a Vehicle Technician or Vehicle Mechanic who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.

Carrying out vehicle diagnostics using the latest manufacturer-approved diagnostic equipment
Performing mechanical and electrical repairs to a high standard
Supporting and mentoring junior technicians and apprentices
Liaising with the technical support team and service advisors when required
Conducting road tests to confirm repair quality and customer satisfaction
Carrying out routine vehicle servicing and health checks efficiently and accurately
Advising on additional repair work and providing technical feedback when needed.Requirements:
Minimum NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
Previous experience in a dealership or independent workshop environment
Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to work independently or within a team
Full UK driving licence is essential
MOT testing accreditation, EV training or manufacturer experience are highly desirable, but not essential.The salary of this role is up to £43,000 basic with OTE of £52,500.
Hours of work for this Vehicle Technician role are a Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm + Saturday mornings on a rota basis.
